Me llamo Jansen Baracho. 
Vivo en Brasil (Natal / RN). 
Soy ilustrador y tatuador ocasional.

Hey, man. My name is Jansen Baracho. I live in Brazil (Natal/RN). I'm an illustrator and occasional tattoo artist.

2- que llega primero a tu vida, la musica o el dibujo?
2- What comes first to your life, music or drawing?

Los dibujos. 
He garabateado desde que mi madre me regaló mi primer cómic, a la edad de 5 años.

The drawings. I've been scribbling since my mom gave me my first comic book, at the age of 5.

3- como se desarrolla una iLustracion tuya? Desde la idea hasta el resultado final. Pasando por materiales hasta el PC (si es que lo usas)

Si es un encargo, primero tengo una pequeña charla con la persona con la que estoy trabajando para saber qué quiere, más o menos, para el concepto. 
Después de eso, trataré de hacer que mi cerebro cojo funcione un poco y, hasta ahora, las ideas siguen llegando. 
El siguiente paso es buscar referencias (¡muchas!) y desarrollar un bosquejo básico que sirva como guía para la pieza final.

If it is a commissioned one, first i have a little talk with the person that i'm working with to know what, more or less, he wants for the concept. After that, i'll try to put my lame brain to work a little bit, and, so far, the ideas keep coming. the next step is looking for references (a lot!) and develope a basic sketch that will serve as a guide for the final piece. I used to work only with ink and paper, but for the last few months I've been using a wacom cintiq 16

¿Hoy en día? 
solo trabajando para algunas bandas, nada más que eso. 
En el pasado trabajé en conciertos y organicé algunos.

Nowadays? just working for some bands, nothing besides that. In the past i've worked at gigs and organized a couple of it.

Motörhead, Misfists, Old Metallica, Slayer, Wolfbrigade, Sabbath, Bad Brains, Old Sepultura, Ratos de Porão, Entombed, Napalm Death...

6- For what bands have you designed the artwork?

Streetwise, The Rumjacks, Backfire!, Rot, Bandanos, Doomed Society, Surra, Hellvetica, Going The Distance, Zombie cook book, deranged insane, chancho (and many more/y algunas mas)

7- donde has publicado tus ilustraciones?

un par de revistas a través de los años, nada más

8- con que tipos de artes graficas trabajas?

Besisdes tinta y papel e ilustración digital, me gusta hacer algunos lavados de tinta de vez en cuando. 
También probé poscas, pero solo por diversión.

Besisdes ink and paper and digital illustration, i like to make some ink washes once in a while. I tried poscas too, but just for fun.

9- cual fue el mejor Show que viste? Recuerdas porque?
9- what was the best show you saw?

Motörhead en 2009. Como saben, Brasil es un país enorme. 
Vivo en la región noreste, y la mayor parte de los grandes espectáculos internacionales ocurren en el sureste. 
Pero hay un festival anual en nuestra región llamado "Abril Pro Rock", y en este festival pude ver bandas como Sodom, Bad Brains, Obituary, DK, DRI, Nuclear Assault, Varukers ... y Motörhead. 
¡Toda la gente se volvió loca! 
Fue enorme y muy especial para todos.

Motörhead in 2009. As you know, Brazil is a huge country. I live in the northeast region, and the most part of the big international shows happens at the southeast. But there's an annual festival in our region called "Abril Pro Rock", and at this fest i could see bands like Sodom, Bad Brains, Obituary, DK, DRI, Nuclear Assault, Varukers... and Motörhead. The whole people just went nuts! It was huge and very special for everybody.

Punk, HC, Grind, Thrash, Death...

Sí, por supuesto. 
Sigo a muchos artistas de otros países como Aaron Horkey, Florian Bertmer, Gery Vermin, Alexandros Pyromallis, Sugi, Benoit Hamet, Ken Terror, Davide mancini ... y becarios brasileños como Augusto Minighitti, Daniel Ete Giometti, Pedro Panta, Wendell 
Araújo, Wildner Lima ...
