1- What's your name, where are you from, where are you going?
1- ¿Cómo te llamas, de dónde eres, a dónde vas?

My name is Ana Louro, an I’m from Porto, Portugal. That’s a funny question because I’m in situation where I have no ideia where I’m going but I’m curious!

Mi nombre es Ana Louro, soy de Oporto, Portugal.
Esa es una pregunta divertida porque estoy en una situación en la que no tengo idea de a dónde voy, ¡pero tengo curiosidad!

2- What comes first to your heart, art or music?
2- ¿Qué llega primero a tu corazón, el arte o la música?

 I think art because I’ve always had a need to create in any form, so I’ve always did “art” but never did music. Music was always a big inspiration for what I did but not the only.

Creo arte porque siempre tuve la necesidad de crear de cualquier forma, por lo que siempre hice "arte" pero nunca hice música.
La música siempre fue una gran inspiración para lo que hice, pero no la única.

3- what is the reason that inspires you to draw punk girls?
3- ¿Cuál es la razón que te inspira a dibujar chicas punk?

Since I remember I draw girls, maybe because I wanted to create characters that I wanted to be… Now I create characters that I want to see as well. Even tough you have more badass ladies out there in comics, television, etc it’s still not enough and it’s even harder to see them having the same interests as me so I draw them.

Desde que recuerdo, dibujo chicas, tal vez porque quería crear personajes que quería ser ... Ahora también creo personajes que quiero ver.
Incluso si tienes más mujeres rudas en los cómics, la televisión, etc., aún no es suficiente y es aún más difícil verlas teniendo los mismos intereses que yo, así que las dibujo.

4- have you ever drawn to order?

Yes most of my recent work has been to others.

5- what music do you listen to?

As my spotify said mostly punk but I like all music that says something and I’m very open the every style.

 I have no idea and I don’t know If have found it it yet.

No tengo idea y no sé si lo he encontrado todavía.

8- which was the best band you saw live?
and because?
8- ¿Cuál fue la mejor banda que viste en vivo? Y porqué?

 That’s impossible to answer. I’ve seen so many and love them all for diferente reasons but I can say that the best show I saw recently was Bikini Kill because I never dreamed to see them live and It was amazing.

He visto muchos y los amo a todos por diferentes razones, pero puedo decir que el mejor espectáculo que vi recientemente fue Bikini Kill porque nunca soñé con verlos en vivo y fue increíble.

9- do you follow the illustrations of other artists?
9- ¿sigues las ilustraciones de otros artistas?

 Yes, one of my biggest inspiration is Rufus Dayglo. I also really like Rita Booh, Medusa Dollmaker and so many others!

10- as an illustrator do you expect anything from 2020?
10- como ilustrador, ¿esperas algo de 2020?

 I expect to grow as an illustrator and to be better at balancing work and life.

Espero crecer como ilustrador y ser mejor para equilibrar el trabajo y la vida.

11- what would your life be like without art and music?
11- ¿Cómo sería tu vida sin arte y música?

Not great. Art and music have been so present on my life  that’s impossible to think about life without them.

No estaria bien. El arte y la música han estado tan presentes en mi vida que es imposible pensar en la vida sin ellos.
