Cartoonist: Horror Rudey (interview #100 and image gallery).

After a year and a half interviewing and sharing illustrations by cartoonists from all over the world, we have reached article number 100! let the ink run!

Luego de un año y medio entrevistando y compartiendo ilustraciones de dibujantes de todo el mundo, hemos llegado al artículo numero 100! que corra la tinta!

1- welcome to this project called "Caryoonist around the World" in the blog 10 Charruas 10 Crestas. Tell us your name, where you are from, and what is your goal as a cartoonist.

1. My real name are Edo Kautsar, but people know me more as Horror Rudey.. i live in Bandung City in Indonesia! my goal as a cartoonist is to have fun & go crazy!


1- Bienvenido a este proyecto denominado "Dibujantes alrededor del Mundo" en el blog 10 Charruas 10 Crestas. Dinos tu nombre, de dónde eres y cuál es tu objetivo como dibujante.

1. Mi nombre real es Edo Kautsar, pero la gente me conoce más como Horror Rudey... ¡vivo en la ciudad de Bandung en Indonesia! ¡Mi objetivo como dibujante es divertirme y volverme loco!

2- which comes first in your life, art or music?

2. mostly i served in psychobilly & horror punk scene, i also a singer in a psychobilly band.. so both are equal & mutual.

2- ¿Qué llega primero a tu vida, el arte o la música?

2. principalmente serví en la escena psychobilly y horror punk, también soy cantante en una banda de psychobilly ... así que ambos son iguales y mutuos.

3- since when do you link these two passions?

3. since the begining of my debut as an artist in 2006

5. my own psychobilly band, hahaha Kereta Susana, and some bands in horror music scene Prison of Blues, Suicidal Sinatra, Kelelawar Malam, Ejakula Vampira, The Fiendish ghouls

5. mi propia banda de psychobilly, jajaja Kereta Susana, y algunas bandas en la escena musical de terror Prison of Blues, Suicidal Sinatra, Kelelawar Malam, Ejakula Vampira, The Fiendish ghouls

6- which are your favorite bands.

6. i love most psychobilly bands, Zombie ghost train, Nekromantix, Danzig Misfits, The others, Ramstein, Rancid & the vines.. too much to mention

7- Do you follow other artists linked to music?

7. yes! we are small circle of psychobilly artist! oscar hertin, solrac, paskal millet, kimberly poison, Woody, mad twins, olaf ace, king rat and many more!

9- who would you like to draw for and why?

9. i've been very happy with all the bands i have draw, most of them are what i've dreamed for! so have checked all my band list.. i learned their lyrics & translated em to drawing & ask the bands! always worked & try my best


9- ¿para quién te gustaría dibujar y por qué?

9. He sido muy feliz con todas las bandas que he sorteado, ¡la mayoría son con las que he soñado! así que he revisado toda mi lista de bandas ... ¡Aprendí sus letras y las traduje al dibujo y pregunté a las bandas! siempre trabajé e hice mi mejor esfuerzo

10- how would your life be without art and music?

10. hose 2 are my most fundamental aspect that build my life & make my personality.. maybe if put my other hobbies, playing video games & transformers robot toys? i got other job as government officer, but damn i dont know what i will become without art & music to be honest


10- ¿cómo sería tu vida sin arte y música?

10. La manguera 2 son mi aspecto mas fundamental que construyen mi vida y hacen mi personalidad .. tal vez si pongo mis otros pasatiempos, jugar videojuegos y juguetes robot transformers? Conseguí otro trabajo como oficial del gobierno, pero maldita sea, no sé en qué me convertiré sin arte y música para ser honesto.
